Frequently Asked Questions
How Does Jetsmith Ensure That All Aircraft Are Safe?
Your health and safety are our top priority. Our partners through Jetsmith’s Select Network of operators are required to adhere to enhanced safety and experience standards that far exceed FAA minimums. Our expert operations team closely monitors each flight to ensure crews adhere to our strict safety standards.
Does Jetsmith Own a Fleet?
Jetsmith does not own a fleet, but rather, works with a select group of vetted operators.
Jetsmith’s Select operators are actively monitored and reviewed to ensure adherence to operational and safety excellence. These include good standing with third party standards organizations such as ARG/US and Wyvern; maintenance of insurance requirements; as well as a pre-flight review of assigned crew before every leg flown.
What Types of Aircraft Are Available with a Jet Card?
There are a wide range of jet categories and types available to our Jet Card Clients, with categories including Light, Mid, Super-Mid, Heavy, and specific aircraft types including the Phenom 300, Challenger 300, or Gulfstream 450.
Where can I go on a private jet flight?
In the United States, you can utilize a jet charter service to fly to over 5,000 airports as opposed to just over 500 available through commercial airlines. Chances are that there is a private charter flight airport much closer to your actual destination than the airport
required for commercial aviation. Internationally, the ratio varies by country, but the same general rule applies worldwide.
